Cooperative Education Program

Student Referral
  • All students qualified for an on- or off-campus co-op position should be advised to stop by the Co-op Office for referral. Students who indicate that they have received a co-op employment position should check with the Co-op Office for proper registration and enrollment in the program.
  • Students who properly file their co-op assignment with the Co-op Office will retain their full-time student status at the University. This will allow them to defer their scholarships until they return, and those students who are under their parents’ health plan will be allowed to maintain this status.
  • Any student who requires certification of full-time status will be assisted by the Co-op Office staff for this certification.
