Educators’ Job Fair

43th Annual Educators’ Job Fair, April 24, 2017

The long-standing Educators’ Job Fair at New Mexico State University has been a two-day event co-sponsored by the College of Education and coordinated by Career Services. This year, the event will be one day which will continue to provide the talented students districts are looking for.  The Educators’ Job Fair allows for candidates and numerous school districts located throughout the nation to discuss career options and employment opportunities in formal interviews.

Regional support has made this fair a showcase event for both recruiting personnel and candidates. As in past years, the majority of the candidates will be from New Mexico State University, Western New Mexico University and the community. However, a growing number of candidates from across the nation are utilizing this event to find challenging positions.

A continuing feature of this year’s fair will be the ability of local and out-of-town candidates to register and schedule structured interviews via the Internet. This format of structured interviews, as opposed to a walk-in situation, has been the key to successful fairs in the past. The Educators’ Job Fair is open to all experienced teachers, and school administration as well as new professionals in education.

Both candidate and district representatives will find details about EJF on the links located to the right. Candidates should contact the Professional Employment section of Career Services at proemp@nmsu.edu or 575-646-5012 for questions and additional information. District representatives should contact Elizabeth Ortega to make arrangements for building interview schedules.
