The long-standing Educators’ Job Fair at New Mexico State University is a two-day event, co-sponsored by the College of Education and coordinated by Career Services. The Educators’ Job Fair allows for candidates and numerous school districts located throughout the nation to discuss career options and employment opportunities in formal interviews.
Regional support has made this fair a showcase event for both recruiting personnel and candidates. As in past years, the majority of the candidates will be from New Mexico State University, Western New Mexico University and the community. However, a growing number of candidates from across the nation are utilizing this event to find challenging positions.
A continuing feature of this year’s fair will be the ability of local and out-of-town candidates to register and schedule structured interviews via the Internet. This format of structured interviews, as opposed to a walk-in situation, has been the key to successful fairs in the past. The Educators’ Job Fair is open to all experienced teachers and new professionals in education.
